Thanks to all of the hard work done by our members this spring, the Island is now looking better than ever, and we are officially open for the 2010 season! With most of the hard work done (for the time being), we and are looking forward to doing some relaxing, and enjoying our beautiful Island paradise. A great way to relax and get to know more of our members is to attend the many social events that we have planned for you! As of June 6th the launches are running full time and will continue this schedule through Labor Day. Please check the calendar for the entire 2010 SIYC launch schedule.
As the saying goes, "many hands make light work" and this especially holds true when it comes to Sprite Island. It is because of the efforts of our members that Sprite Island looks and functions as well as it does. The 2010 committee assignment list has been compiled based on your requests and the 2010 membership survey results. Please take a moment to look it over and double check that your name is on it. If you are new to the club or haven't yet chosen a committee to volunteer on for the 2010 season, please take a moment to review the Committee Description List to see what committee is the best fit for you. Once you have chosen a committee please email your choice to Committee Assignments.
Please be sure to check the calendar often for specific club hours, the 2010 racing schedule, and the 2010 social schedule. You should also check the Club Announcements page for upcoming events.
